What to do in Dayton during the Coronavirus shutdown?

Get the family off the couch and get out and explore!

As we all know, Ohio has banned all eat in restaurants and closed all bars or any gathering of larger amounts of people as of March 16, 2020. With schools closed and most businesses shutting down, there is only so much you can take being solitary.

You have options, and the most logical is to get outside and get some fresh air. There are wide open spaces and much less people in a condensed area. Translation: It’s safe as long as you keep your distance.

We have one best parks system in the country. The Miami River Valley is what makes Dayton a great outdoor destination. We are sitting on a geological hotbed so to speak and most Daytonians don’t even know it. Go to other states and you will see how lucky we are to have these precious natural resources being showcased by our state, city governments, MetroParks and others.

This website has more parks in one location than any other resource. And we think you will enjoy browsing our directly and listings. Click the green button on the bottom of this page to get started.

Now you have no excuses. get out and find a park you haven’t been too. You can get some exercise and some fresh air all at the same time. Where else are you going to gain your sanity?

You are going to see great things and wish you wish you had done more of this earlier!
