TREALITY® SVS is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team and make a difference. The ultimate goal of the system engineer is to ensure that we will design and provide a simulator display passing all display specifications of the customer. Throughout the project lifecycle the function articulates around three key roles:
Using their technical expertise, the system engineer analyzes large and complex specifications seeking clarifications with the customer or advising & negotiating changes to ensure that the specification and its interpretation are realistic. The SE will then designs the visual display using an internally developed tool, runs performances prediction as well as assessing risks on critical parameters. SE takes the initiative of performing immediate validation testing when the available tools are not sufficient to guarantee compliance. SE will usually not only define but also perform such validation testing, seeking support of peers with relevant expertise. SE proposes innovative technics either to solve design challenges or to confirm critical specifications. Amongst other things, the design includes selection and positioning of projectors, screens, mirrors as well as electronic components and cabling. This design is then passed on to the Mechanical Engineer who will design a structure to hold these components. On critical specifications, SE is assisted by various internal experts to jointly reach the best solution. Last but not least, the system engineer will define the acceptance testing method and will perform the acceptance testing onsite with the customer when critical, or hand over the procedure to the installation engineer.
